Materials: Cotton Worsted-weight yarn 2 colors 1 oz each. Size G Hook.

Finished Size: 6"

Special Stitches: Lhdc, Lsc, Reverse Sc

Lhdc - Long half double crochet: Yo, insert hook in back loop only of next st and in first unused loop of row below. Yo and pull through all loops. Lhdc made.

Lsc - Long single crochet: Insert hook in both loops and in unused loop of row below. Lsc made.

Reverse sc - Work sc from left to right instead of right to left.

Potholder:

With both strands of yarn held tog, ch 19.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; ch 2, turn (18 sc)

Row 2: Hdc in back loop only of each sc across, ch 2, turn.

Row 3: Lhdc in each st across, ch 2, turn.

Rows 4-20: Rep Row 3. At end of Row 20, ch 1 instead of ch 2.

Row 21: Lsc in each st across. Do not turn. Ch 1.

Border:

Work Reversce sc around potholder with 3 in each corner. When you get to the first ch 10 for hanging loop. Join. Finish off and weave in ends.
